Honey Ginger Salmon in Foil

Ingredients
  • 1/4cup honey
  • 1tbsp gingerfreshly grated
  • 3cloves garlicminced
  • 2tbsp soy sauce
  • 1tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1tbsp sesame oil
  • 1tsp Srirachaoptional
  • freshly ground black pepperto taste
  • 2pounds salmon
  • 2 green onionsthinly sliced
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, Sriracha and pepper.
  3. Place salmon onto the foil lined baking sheet and fold up all 4 sides of the foil.
  4. Spoon the honey mixture over the salmon. Fold the sides of foil over the salmon, making a sealed packet around the salmon.
  5. Place into oven and bake until cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Then broil for 2-3 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes

**Cardinal Rule** Try to buy a piece of fish that is an even thickness, this will help ensure it all cooks in the same amount of time.
