Ingredients
  • 1/2cup butterroom temperature
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2cup cocoa powderI used Hershey Special Dark Chocolate
  • 1/4tsp baking powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 2cups chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4-1/2cup caramel sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8×8 inch pan.
  2. Beat together the butter, sugar, and vanilla in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each addition.
  4. Stir together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
  5. Mix in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  6. Mix just until combined (batter will be thick). Scrape into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes, until brownies begin to pull away from the side of the pan and a tester comes out almost clean.
  8. Once brownies are cool, evenly spread marshmallow fluff over the top.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of caramel sauce over the marshmallow fluff, and swirl with a knife. Add additional mini-chocolate chips if desired.
Recipe Notes

**Cardinal Rule** Take the time to shift the cocoa powder. It tends to clump in the container, so sifting will help you avoid chunks of cocoa powder in your finished product.
